1. Purpose of this policy
Peptigen Bioscience supplies peptide materials exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research. This policy forms part of our Terms of Sale and applies to every order, inquiry, and communication.
2. Permitted use
Products may be used only for in-vitro research (for example, analytical, biochemical, or cell-free experiments) conducted by trained personnel in an appropriate laboratory setting, in compliance with all applicable laws and institutional requirements.
3. Prohibited use
Products must not be:
- administered to, applied to, or otherwise introduced into humans or animals by any route;
- used as, or incorporated into, a drug, food, dietary supplement, or cosmetic;
- used for any diagnostic or clinical purpose; or
- resold, relabeled, or marketed for any of the above purposes.
4. Regulatory status
Our products are not drugs, food, dietary supplements, or cosmetics. They have not been approved or evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
5. Who may purchase
Buyers must be 21 years of age or older and must be purchasing for legitimate laboratory research. We may request information about a buyer’s affiliation, facility, or research purpose before accepting or shipping an order.
6. Attestations
Every order requires the buyer to confirm, at checkout, their age, their research-only purpose, their understanding of the regulatory status of the products, and their agreement to our Terms of Sale and this policy. These attestations, with timestamps, are retained with the order record.
7. Communications
We do not provide any guidance regarding the use of our products in humans or animals. Our staff are instructed not to respond to such questions. Any communication indicating an intent to use products outside laboratory research will result in cancellation of pending orders and may result in refusal of future orders.
8. Order screening and cancellation
We review orders for indicators of non-research use and reserve the right to cancel any order, at any time before shipment, with a full refund.
9. Safe handling
