HPLC purity analysis

High-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) separates the components of a sample so that the target peptide can be quantified relative to related impurities. Purity is reported as the area percentage of the main peak at a stated detection wavelength.

Each product has a purity specification. A lot is released only when its measured purity meets that specification.

Mass spectrometry identity confirmation

Mass spectrometry (for example, ESI-MS or MALDI-TOF) measures the mass-to-charge ratio of ionized molecules. The observed molecular mass is compared with the theoretical mass calculated from the expected sequence to confirm identity.

Independent laboratories

Analysis is performed by third-party analytical laboratories that are independent of our suppliers. The laboratory name, test date, and analyst sign-off appear on each Certificate of Analysis.

Where a supplier also provides an in-house certificate, it is retained on file but is not a substitute for independent analysis.

Lot traceability

Every vial label carries a lot number. That number links to the supplier batch record, the independent COA, our receiving records, and the storage history of the lot.

If a lot is ever placed on hold, it is withdrawn from sale and customers who received it are notified.

Storage & cold chain

Inventory is kept in temperature-controlled storage with logged temperatures. Orders are packed in insulated packaging appropriate to the transit time and season.

Recommended storage conditions for each product are taken from the supplier documentation and shown on the product page and COA.

What a COA contains

• Product name and lot number
• Testing laboratory, test date, and authorized signature
• HPLC chromatogram and reported purity
• Mass spectrum with observed and theoretical mass
• Appearance and form
